About the role
As a Field Service Recruiter at Hitachi Energy, you will play a crucial role in attracting and hiring the technical talent needed to support our global network of field service engineers, technicians, and other technical professionals.
Responsibilities
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle from intake through offer acceptance and onboarding.
- Recruit for field-based technical positions including: Field Service Engineers, Transformer Diagnostic Specialists, Commissioning Engineers, High Voltage Technicians, Electrical Engineers, Service Technicians, Installation and Maintenance Professionals.
- Build proactive talent pipelines through sourcing, networking, referrals, market mapping, and competitor targeting.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies focused on service and engineering talent markets.
- Conduct candidate screening, interviewing, assessment, and presentation of qualified talent.
- Lead offer negotiation and candidate closing activities.
- Utilize recruiting technology, analytics, and reporting tools to drive hiring efficiency and improve candidate experience.
- Provide market intelligence, compensation insights, and talent availability trends to business leaders.
- Ensure compliance with recruiting processes, policies, and candidate data privacy requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting for field service, engineering, construction, manufacturing, industrial, utility, energy, electrical, or technical roles.
- Proven success sourcing passive candidates in competitive talent markets.
- Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and business leaders.
- Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and offer negotiation skills.
- Experience using ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern sourcing tools.
