About the Role
This is a remote/field position that provides an advanced level of service and consultation to customers’ biomedical-process applications. The role performs advanced troubleshooting and optimization while maintaining best-in-class quality standards and delivering the company’s value proposition to secure recurring business, customer satisfaction, and long-term loyalty. Extensive travel throughout the Carolinas and the eastern seaboard is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth advice on customer applications for optimal performance results.
- Perform consultative support for new installations, equipment calibrations, remote monitoring, and feeding technology.
- Service the mechanical installation and secure performance and reliability of pumps, piping, chemical-feed systems, storage tanks, and other connected systems.
- Maintain and develop relationships with customers and key stakeholders alongside the sales account manager.
- Deliver customer technical training as required.
- Identify new business opportunities and transfer sales leads to the sales teams.
- Provide comprehensive customer service reports according to company policies using company tools.
- Properly maintain all company-owned equipment (tools, instruments, safety equipment, and vehicle).
- Complete all administrative requirements, including basic skills and safety training courses.
- Manage inventory and supplies required at the customer site.
- Deliver on service KPIs, including safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Secure conditions for safe operations according to company and customer policies and procedures.
- Perform similar or related duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum of 5 years of maintenance, sanitation, or related experience in food/beverage or biomedical production environments.
- Expert knowledge of food and beverage sanitation or biomedical sanitation practices and terminology.
Skills
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Deep knowledge of cooling, boiler, wastewater, and food-sanitation systems.
- Proficient in the use of monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Able to build professional customer presentations using MS Office tools.
- Experience with CRM software.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

- Extra hours and some travel may be required.
