Field Service Engineer Level 1 - Wet Tools

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (adaptable to working standard day shifts, compressed schedules, or night shifts in accordance with business requirements)

Pay

$31.00 to $33.00 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for installation, maintenance, and site support for state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing/wet processing equipment
• Evaluate and diagnose problems and make proper repairs
• Follow and help develop detailed procedures
• Work with co-workers, customer, and field support in isolating and resolving problems under strict time restraints
• Troubleshoot and document findings
• Be able to work overtime as needed

Requirements

• Ability to perform successfully in a demanding environment with varying workloads
• Work independently or as part of a team
• Work in a safe manner and follow all safety protocols
• Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Experience using alignment tools (micrometers, calipers, multimeters, current clamps)
• Ability to read schematics and plumbing diagrams
• Chemical handling and familiarity (protective equipment and hazards)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Work according to strict procedures
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in an Engineering field (completion of military technical training and/or field experience may substitute for an associate’s degree)

Physical Effort/Activities

• May be required to walk up to 5+ miles per day
• Able to be on feet for 8-10 hours at a time
• Able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces
• Work at heights and on a ladder
• Lift up to 50-75 pounds
