Field Service Controls Engineer

About the role

The Field Service Controls Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to EMAG customers across the United States. This position requires strong knowledge of industrial control systems and experience in field service operations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to industrial control systems
• Maintain and upgrade customer equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and solutions
• Document and communicate findings and recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial control systems and field service operations
• Proficiency in programming languages such as PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)
• Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing industrial equipment failures
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Skills

• Proficiency in industrial control systems
• Knowledge of SCADA systems
• Experience with PLC programming
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
