Responsibilities
- Provide support to all Exceed Safety LLC and client’s employees
- Supervises field safety compliance by ensuring that Exceed Safety LLC and client’s employees are fulfilling labor safety policies
- Conducts safety classes as well as new hire safety orientations
- Responsible for all county, states, and federal DOT compliance requirements
- Enhance job knowledge by participating in educational training sessions
- Inspect working conditions in manufacturing sites to ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations, as well as Exceed Safety LLC and our client’s requirements
- Perform safety audits, job hazard analysis and incident investigations
- Advise and assist in the development and implementation of plans, policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure safety programs are aligned with company and site goals
- Conduct/assist with the incident investigation process to ensure thorough investigations, provide resolutions, and issue reports
- Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues
- Intervene in unsafe activities or operations
Competencies
- Basic: High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 Years experience in Construction and at least 4 years of Management experience
- OSHA 500
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Share a strong vision for safety

Prefer
- Affiliate Degree in Occupational, Health & Safety sciences or minimum of 1 year experience in an Environmental, Health and Safety position
- Technical writing a plus
- Strong time management, organizational skills, and strong attention to detail
- Ability to anticipate needs, be resourceful and use sound judgment and tact
Qualifications
- No supervisory responsibilities
- Work is conducted in both indoor office settings, and outdoor jobsite settings
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb, type, carry up to 40 lbs, pushing and bending.
- May be required to occasionally work at heights and in confined space.
- This is a full-time position with the possibility of varying shifts.
- Up to $40 per hour depending on experience.
- Per diem 204.00 per day that is worked.
