Field QC Supervisor
Job Summary
The primary responsibilities of this position are to inspect, document, and report on work performed by Matrix Service personnel and/or Matrix Service subcontractors as directed by the New Tank & Specialty Vessel Division QA/QC Manager and/or their designees. This position will be located on a jobsite in Nederland, TX. This is a night shift position.

Accept responsibility to abide by, support, and enforce all Matrix Service safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Achieve and maintain familiarity with the structure and requirements of Matrix Tank Construction Quality Management System (QMS), applicable Project Quality Plans (PQP), project applicable Codes and Standards such as API Standards 620 & 650, ASME Sec. VIII & IX, etc., and applicable Issued For Construction Drawings through personal investigation and study.
- Must be willing to work frequent overtime.
- Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Must be able and willing to work at elevated heights from ladders, scaffolding, aerial work platforms, etc.
- Must be able to lift and carry as much as 50 pounds.
- Must possess one of the following current/valid Inspection credentials: API-653 Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector, AWS CWI – Certified Welding Inspector. Not mandatory but a plus if the candidate is an AWS CRI – Certified Radiographic Interpreter.
