Field QC Site Supervisor
Job Summary
The Field QC Site Supervisor plans, directs and supervises company quality control functions and activities. Essential Functions include actively supporting the Company's commitment to safety, representing the Company with high moral standards, promoting and maintaining a safe work environment, preparing and implementing quality control programs, performing inspections and witness tests, providing administrative and technical direction, acting as a liaison, ensuring standards are implemented, and performing other responsibilities.
About the Role
Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.” Responsible and accountable to promote, maintain and ensure safety and a safe work environment for quality assurance personnel.
Responsibilities
- Prepares, obtains approval, issues and implements company quality control (assurance) program manual in compliance with owner contract and company requirements.
- Performs activities such as audits, preparation of company standards, notification to management of quality problems, etc.
- Performs inspections and witness tests as required.
- Provides administrative and technical direction to all quality control personnel, including personnel administration, resolution of technical problems, development and approval of in-house training, etc.
- Acts as liaison with owner, regulatory agencies, subcontractors and internal departments on quality related matters as required.
- Ensures company standards as outlined in quality control (assurance) manual are effectively implemented.
- Ensures adequate corrective measures are implemented in cases of noncompliance.
Requirements
- Four-year engineering degree or a minimum of 5 years quality control (quality assurance) experience or equivalent.
- Thorough working knowledge of regulatory agency quality assurance and quality control activities.
- Experience must have been on similar facilities under construction.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to supervise personnel and excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Advance degree or training is desirable.
- AWS CWI required, API preferred, plus working knowledge of ASME SEC. V, VIII, IX, B31.1, B31.3, API650/653, NBIC and AWS is required.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Pay
The typical hiring range for this position in Washington is $55.39 to $65.17 per hour. The pay rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience, specific skill set, geographic location, internal equity, and other factors influencing pay.
