Job Description
This is a one-year travel assignment that requires relocating to different Cornerstone offices across the country. Unlike traditional weekly business travel, you will live in each market for approximately 1–3 months before relocating to your next assignment.
Job Responsibilities
- Office Operations & Leadership
- Assume full leadership responsibilities of the departing Operating Director to ensure continuity of care, operational stability, and high-quality client and caregiver support.
- Recruit, interview, and hire caregivers using platforms such as Indeed, ensuring appropriate staffing for all clients.
- Oversee scheduling through AxisCare, maintaining adequate coverage for all clients and caregivers.
- Office Assessment & Stabilization
- Evaluate office conditions upon arrival: client and caregiver paperwork, community relationships, staffing levels, vehicle condition, and operational gaps.
- Organize and refresh the office environment: tidy spaces, clean the Cornerstone vehicle, manage unused items, and ensure paperwork is up-to-date and scanned.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Maintain clear communication with Home Base team members across operational departments.
- Partner with the Recruiting Team to support the identification of a permanent Operating Director.
- Serve as the point of contact for clients and families, resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
- Team Development & Compliance
- Provide support, training, and mentorship to caregivers and managers.
- Monitor staff performance and issue improvement plans as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-changing environment.
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationwide as needed.
Work Environment
High-paced office environment; continuous phone use/ringing; talking; various noise levels; interactions with employees, referral sources, and clients; possible exposure to prescription drugs, bodily fluids, small appliances for cooking, cooling, and heating foods or securely storing medications.
