Field/Gym Supervisor

Responsibilities

Oversees officials and scorekeepers.
Monitors league and tournament play.
Solves problems and conflicts that arise during programs.
Supervises facility and participants by enforcing program and building rules, regulations, and procedures.
Ensures facilities and fields are left in a secure condition by closing and locking all gates, windows, doors, and setting alarms.
Affixes equipment pick up at the end of the evening.
Assists in maintenance or cleaning of the playing and surrounding area.
Responds to participants and general public using courteous and effective communication to provide information and resolve conflicts as necessary.
Sets up facilities as needed.
Keeps accurate records of scores and various reports.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age by date of hire.
• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) preferred; minimum three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Background in the sport of baseball, softball or basketball.
• General knowledge of rules and methods for applicable sport.

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Other Information

• CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: CPR and first aid certification preferred.
• The hiring range for this position is $19.21 - $22.09 an hour.
