Sports Supervisors
Sports supervisors are responsible for administering adult and youth sports while providing world class customer service for patrons.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Must be able to work weeknights and some weekends.
- Enforce sports rules and policies with staff and participants.
- Maintains work area, facilities, supplies and equipment.
- Completes a variety of paperwork daily (log, results and incidents reports).
- Afford assistance with any first aid, CPR and other medical attention as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests.
- Attends and participates in staff meetings and trainings.
- Performs all other related duties.
- Maintain professional appearance with required staff shirt and/or jacket.

Education & Experience
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- A High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- One year of sports-related experience preferred.

- Ability to work with diverse staff and participants.
- Ability to communicate effectively with participants, other departments, and management.
- Ability to defuse stressful situations.
- Ability to communicate sports rules, regulations and enforce policies.
- Must be organized when completing daily log, results, and incident reports.
- Ability to explain/demonstrate concepts and techniques to guests as they participate in recreation activities.
- Ability to remain composed in emergency situations and make sound judgments.
- Ability to recognize safety hazards and notify supervisors.
- Ability to operate all assigned equipment safely.
- Ability to provide customer service in a fast paced, chaotic environment.
Qualifications
- Must successfully pass all required employment screens.
- CPR, First Aid and AED Certification.

The City of Fort Collins offers many remote and/or hybrid positions, but all remote or hybrid work must be performed in the state of Colorado.
Pay
Hourly Rate: $16.00 - 20.00 per hour (based on relevant experience)
