Field Finance Coordinator

About the role

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Field Finance Coordinator to join our team in Boone, NC. You can be a part of a highly professional U.S Rebuild team. In this role, you will initiate payment requests for U.S. Rebuild Field Offices. You will administer day-to-day financial correspondence and complete additional administrative duties as needed for the Field Finance team. Come and use your gifts daily to advance the Gospel!

Responsibilities

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
• Enter daily purchasing card and petty cash account transactions on the related Serenic import sheets. Submit import sheets monthly for U.S. Rebuild
• Review purchasing card (P-Card) usage reports and provide day-to-day receipt reconciliation of the P-Card program for the assigned U.S. Rebuild site
• Collect and submit the vendor ACH Request Form and W-9 for new vendor setup
• Coordinate with vendors and initiate invoice payment processes per departmental policies, and complete the processing of invoices promptly within Ministry guidelines
• Ensure that invoices and P-Card purchases are accurately coded for expense tracking
• Other duties may be assigned that are not specifically identified in the job description

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• General knowledge of basic accounting concepts, including budgeting and proper coding, given a chart of accounts
• General knowledge of mathematical concepts, including the ability to calculate discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to prioritize competing demands
• Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred, not required
