About the Role
Field Exam is the focal point for controlling risk and disseminating information gained from onsite examination of Pathward’s Working Capital Clients. These underlying strengths must be used to educate, strategize with, and continually mentor those involved in the field exam process.
Responsibilities
- Represents the company at client and prospective client locations to physically review client records and assets to verify collateral position and confirm accuracy of financial information and reporting.
- Reviews and analyzes performance of client's collateral.
- Verifies the accuracy of the client's recordkeeping.
- Verifies the accuracy and analyzes the client's reporting to the Bank and, if requested, reconciles to the Bank's records.
- Verifies facility is managed in adherence with approved client narrative.
- Performs survey exams at prospective borrower locations.
- Performs exams and work out transactions, and recommends exit strategies to senior management.
- Spreads and analyzes client's financial statements to assess financial performance and cash flow.
- Communicates regularly with the Credit Department before, during, and after the field exam.
- Prepares clear and concise written reports summarizing results and recommendations.
- Schedules audits with clients.
- Tracks time spent at client locations to ensure proper billing to client.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience. Typically, 3+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 – $84,000. The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based incentive opportunity.
