Job Description
Roles And Responsibilities
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain HSE policies, Management Systems, and Weatherford's Rules to Live By.
- Quality Assurance: Comply with and improve Weatherford's Quality Management System.
- Field Operations: Participate in safety meetings, JHA, job planning, tool preparation, mobilization, and execution.
- Equipment Management: Test, operate, and maintain tools and equipment, and manage inventory.
- Client Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, deliver service quality, and submit job documentation.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate appropriate technical skills, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide technical advice.
- Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor field operation crew members, manage personnel, and lead installation of complex equipment.
- Failure Analysis: Follow up on equipment failures, close failure reports with clients, and participate in Root Cause Analysis.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and be available on a 24-hour call basis.
- Financial Responsibility: Ensure costs are within budget and processed within agreed timelines.
- Professional Development: Complete training and engage with line manager for career development.
Skills And Education
- High School Diploma
- 1 – 2½ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Technical Certificate from accredited Technical/Vocational School
- Fundamentals of Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics, Pneumatics, and/or Hydraulics
- Strong mathematics, basic physics, and chemistry knowledge
- Computer fundamentals and proficiency
- Critical thinking, active learning, and listening skills
- Complex problem-solving abilities
- Excellent reading and writing skills with strong judgment and decision-making capabilities
- Time management and quality control analysis skills
- Service-oriented mindset with strong customer focus
- Physical capability to undertake field-based tasks
