About the role

The events program is how Supabase introduces itself to the wider market and its partner network. This role focuses on two main areas: partner events and trade shows, as well as strategic business events.

Responsibilities

  • Own partner events and trade shows end to end, from planning through on-site execution and follow-up.
  • Work with Sales to design and run strategic business events such as executive dinners, roundtables, and small high-touch gatherings aimed at target accounts, pipeline, and expansion.
  • Evaluate event opportunities and make the case for where our time and budget go.
  • Manage the operational backbone of each event, including budgets, vendors, timelines, run-of-show docs, staffing plans, and on-site execution.
  • Coordinate the physical side of events, including booth assets, shipping, print, signage, swag, demos, registration, and overall experience.
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing, Partnerships, Design, Operations, Finance, and Legal to align on goals and ship great events together.
  • Drive promotion and attendee communications, including registration, reminders, internal briefs, and readiness documents.
  • Ensure leads are captured and followed up on, working with Operations and GTM.
  • Track how events perform against their goals and turn the results into reporting, learnings, and program improvements.
  • Build repeatable playbooks, templates, and processes that let the program scale without getting heavier.
  • Support our community events program where it helps.

Qualifications

  • 5-8+ years in field marketing or a closely related role.
  • Direct experience running trade shows and sponsored conferences: booth strategy, on-site execution, and everything that goes into a great presence.
  • Experience with partner events and co-marketing: planning and running events with partners, and managing the relationships and deliverables that come with them.
  • Experience building strategic business events in close partnership with Sales, things like executive dinners, roundtables, and targeted regional events tied to pipeline.
  • Comfort owning budgets, vendors, contracts, and on-site logistics.
  • Strong written communication skills; most coordination happens in writing on a remote, async team.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

What We're Looking For

  • Passionate about building memorable, high-quality event experiences.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong management of timelines and multiple priorities.
  • Execution-focused, but always thinking about impact.
  • Analytical and data-driven; uses metrics to make decisions and improve outcomes.
  • Calm under pressure, adaptable on-site, and quick to solve problems.
  • A clear communicator who builds strong relationships across teams.
  • Scrappy and resourceful; makes things happen with limited resources.
  • Excited to learn, improve processes, and grow as the program scales.

How We Work

  • We're remote-first and async, so most coordination happens in writing.
  • You'll have a lot of autonomy and a team that trusts you to run with things.

What We Offer

  • Fully Remote
  • ESOP (equity ownership)
  • Tech Allowance
  • Health Benefits
  • Annual Off-Sites
  • Flexible Work
  • Professional Development
