Field Customer Consultant

About the role

The role of Field Customer Consultant at Vertafore involves consulting with large agencies across the country to support their success. This includes preparing for and consulting on initiatives, driving performance assessments, recommending areas for improvement, and communicating optimization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Drive performance assessments and recommend areas of improvement for customers
• Consult in various professional settings from executive to end-user levels
• Communicate how to get value from Vertafore solutions that align with customer priorities and measure success
• Demonstrate product capability for sales opportunities and adoption of products
• Work with multiple stakeholders to assess business practices, product utilization, and configuration of Vertafore solutions
• Collaborate cross-departmentally with Marketing, Product, and Professional Services
• Advocate for the customer base and communicate gathered information

Requirements

• Deep product knowledge across Vertafore’s agency suite of solutions, particularly in management systems
• Staying current with new product releases and being a student and thought leader in the industry
• Excellent consulting skills with all levels of an organization
• Comfortable working in high-stress situations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of pre-sales or consulting experience in enterprise software or related fields
• Insurance experience required, with an operational role preferred
• Experience with Vertafore products required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements and Details

• Travel required up to 50% of the time
• Ability to work remotely with a stable internet connection on an as-needed basis
• Located and working from an office location when required
• Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer
• Specific vision abilities required for the job, including close vision
• Frequent sitting and/or standing
