Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrates sound estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses
- Demonstrates basic understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
- Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within authority limits
- Applies sound understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
- Buils functional relationships with both internal and external customers

Compensation
Base compensation offered for this role is: Field Adjuster Analyst III: $21.20 – $30.87/hour Field Adjuster Cons I: $26.49 – $40.99/hour Field Adjuster Cons II: $28.03 – $43.70/hour Field Adjuster Sr. Cons I: $35.82 – $50.24/hour
Job Description
National General is seeking an Auto Field Damage Appraiser to join our Claims team, supporting the Raleigh, NC territory. This is a remote, field-based role that manages auto claims both virtually and on-site.
The ideal candidate for this role brings experience handling a variety of auto claims, conducting vehicle inspections, and utilizing CCC ONE estimating software to produce accurate damage estimates. This role works closely with repair facilities and customers to ensure timely, fair, and thorough claim resolution.
