About the role
This position is responsible for creating comprehensive damage estimates for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims, leading to proper claim disposition. The role serves as a peer mentor, having mastered company processes and technical expertise. Candidates should reside in or near Seattle, Bellevue, or surrounding areas to best support the territory.
Responsibilities
- Apply mastered content in interpreting all policy types written by the company and assist leadership in formal and ad-hoc training.
- Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document all activities in complex files.
- Interpret regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.
- Build mastered relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Exhibit mastery in estimating fundamentals to create damage estimates on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities.
Requirements
- Preferred experience managing a variety of auto collision claims, conducting vehicle inspections, and utilizing CCC ONE or similar estimating software.
- Individuals holding an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments during employment.
- Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team.

Pay
Base compensation offered for this role is:
- Field Adjuster Cons I: $26.49 – $40.99/hour
- Field Adjuster Cons II: $28.03 – $43.70/hour
- Field Adjuster Sr. Cons I: $35.82 – $50.24/hour
Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation may include additional components such as incentive pay (e.g., commission or bonus), if applicable.
