Description of Work
- Record Review: Examine agency files and verify compliance with contract requirements
- Audit Preparation: Plan review steps, gather information, and organize documentation for each audit
- Site Activities: Conduct visits, hold conferences, complete tests, and provide technical support when needed
- Fiscal Verification: Review expenditures, payroll records, assets, and allocation plans for accuracy and support
- Provider Assessment: Evaluate new provider applications and prepare internal memos on agency risk
- Collaboration: Work with program and financial offices to address compliance issues and improve processes
Work Schedule and Additional Information
- Full-time employment
- Work hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday
- Scheduled hours can vary depending on the needs of the regional offices
- You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to two days per week after six months of employment
Qualifications
- Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as a Field Auditor I; or Three years of experience in progressively responsible auditing or accounting work, and graduation from high school supplemented by six credit hours of post high school courses in accounting.
- Additional training in accounting, business administration or related fields including six credit hours in accounting may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to two years of the required experience.
- Two years of experience in accounting or auditing work, and one and one-half years of college level work including or supplemented by six credit hours in accounting.
- One year of experience in accounting or auditing work, and a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Other Requirements
- You must meet the PA residency requirement.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
