Responsibilities

  • Acquire new target customers, deliver proposals, and coordinate Hyve team for deployment from sample to MP.
  • Build solid relationships within defined accounts to achieve sales quotas and profitability forecasts.
  • Design and execute sales account business plans using short and long-term strategies.
  • Develop and drive programs and promotions within accounts to increase profitable sales.
  • Recommend new configurations and solutions to support customer-specific requirements.
  • Partner with vendors to evaluate sample to sample units, understand technical applications, and validate hardware/software solutions.
  • Deliver presentations and develop key business relationships both internally and externally.
  • Facilitate programs and promotions to increase account activity and opportunity.
  • Play a key role in increasing market share for the company’s products and services.
  • May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
  • Prepare and present management reports.
  • Deliver presentations and develop key business relationships both internally and externally.
  • Understand complex integration solution sales strategies.
  • Qualifications

    • Requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related area, and at least 7 years of directly sales and/or business development-related experience in the field.
    • A majority of experience spent actively selling to major accounts with a well-developed contact list.
    • Solid understanding of marketing and/or business management.
    • Solid knowledge and understanding of the interfaces and interrelationships between sales, technical specs, product development, and business development functions.
    • Proven track record in closing business.
    • Strong project management skills, including the ability to multi-task.
    • Familiarity with industry and market best practices.
    • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
    • Excellent business communication skills, particularly facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to travel when needed.
    • Maintain a clean driving record.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
