Ferman Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of New Port Richey is hiring for a Service Advisor role focused on Guest Relations within the Automotive Service Sector. This position offers increased earning potential and greater responsibilities for individuals with experience in guest relations and/or sales.

About the Role

As a Service Advisor, you will listen to guest concerns, relay information to Service Technicians, advise guests on vehicle care and maintenance, and actively sell service promotions. You will deliver a best-in-class guest service experience from initial contact through vehicle delivery.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a best-in-class service experience throughout the service and repair process.
• Perform walk-around vehicle inspections with guests and accurately record their service needs and concerns using an electronic tablet.
• Consult with guests and Service Technicians to recommend services, discuss future maintenance, and ensure clear understanding of the project.
• Create Service Repair Orders detailing all work to be performed and provide guests with complete, accurate repair estimates.
• Use phone, text messaging, and email to maintain timely communication regarding vehicle status, changes, delays, or additional work required.
• Advise guests on vehicle maintenance and value in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Strictly follow manufacturer’s warranty guidelines and procedures.
• Track and control all open Repair Orders.
• Manage and oversee workflow and scheduling with a team of technicians.
• Schedule maintenance appointments or follow-up services and repairs.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies, regarding safeguarding customer, company, and manufacturer information.
• Strive to maintain excellent CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.

Requirements

• Experience in guest/customer relations and/or sales; dealership Service Advisor experience is a plus.
• Ability to achieve exceptional CSI scores.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Friendly, positive attitude with strong self-motivation and detail orientation.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Above-average writing, telephone, and texting skills, with proficiency in using computers and tablets.
• Ability to explain complex automotive terms and procedures in an easily understandable manner.
• Self-motivated, able to multi-task effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of vehicle mechanics and parts is a plus.
• Good sales skills and availability to work weekends is a plus.
• Valid U.S. government-issued Driver’s License, safe driving record, and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.
