Female Social Personal Assistant – AAGNCL

About the role

We are seeking an experienced personal assistant to support Amal, a young mum in Kingston Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne, who lives with her husband and three young children. One child has a diagnosis of Autism. Amal has a diagnosis of PPPD (a severe form of complex vertigo) and a heart condition that affects her balance, mobility, and energy levels.

The role involves supporting Amal in the home with tasks that help her care for her family, including accompanying her and the family on local outings such as visits to the park, walks in the nature reserve, and shopping trips.

Responsibilities

• Assist Amal in the kitchen to prepare meals for the family and support her in baking if desired.
• Support Amal in resuming hobbies such as reading and writing.
• Perform domestic tasks including bed changing and laundry, as these are too strenuous for Amal.
• Occasionally assist with light cleaning duties to help clear up after the children.
• Accompany Amal and her family on local community activities.

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy household with young children is advantageous.
• Car driver preferred but not essential.
• Must have permission to work in the U.K. at the time of starting employment.

Pay

£14.00 per hour.

Schedule

12 hours per week including weekends (flexible to be arranged).
