Federal Work Study Student Worker - Ambassador
About the role
The mission of the Student Ambassador is to serve as a representative of Long Island University to prospective students and their families, extending beyond leading campus tours to actively participating in the recruitment efforts of the Office of Admissions.
Responsibilities
- Providing campus tours to prospective students and their families
- Attending on-campus recruitment events
- Serving as a liaison between prospective and current students and LIU
- Affixing inquiries via phone and in person
- Mass mailing campaigns, data entry, and other duties as assigned by Admissions staff
Requirements
- Currently enrolled student registered for at least 12 credit hours for the current fall or spring term
- Minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0
- Completed at least one term at Long Island University
- Very energetic, outgoing, and personable
