Federal Work Study Student Worker - Brooklyn Admissions Ambassador

About the role

Student Ambassadors represent Long Island University to prospective students and their families, actively participating in recruitment efforts for the Office of Admissions. They familiarize prospective students with the university through campus tours and planned admissions events.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student registered for at least 12 credit hours for the current fall or spring term
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Completion of at least one term at Long Island University
• Energetic, outgoing, and personable

Responsibilities

• Provide campus tours to prospective students and their families
• Attend on-campus recruitment events
• Serve as a liaison between prospective and current students and LIU Brooklyn
• Assist with inquiries via phone and in person
• Participate in mass mailing campaigns, data entry, and other duties as assigned by Admissions staff

Pay

$17 per hour
