Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement tax compliance strategies for clients
  • Provide comprehensive support in tax compliance and reporting, including tax provision, direct and indirect tax returns preparation, and tax reform calculations
  • Leverage standardized processes and leading technology to streamline and optimize compliance and reporting processes
  • Encourage the development of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
  • Help shape operating models that support alignment with governing tax regulations and business objectives
  • Lead workstream delivery, track project status, and manage engagement economics
  • Navigate complex tax environments, develop solutions to intricate problems, and recommend changes to policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree) in Accounting or a graduate degree in Tax or Law
  • No less than 4 - 6 years relevant experience of related tax experience
  • CPA certification or licensed attorney status
  • Demonstrated expertise in tax compliance and accounting for income tax reporting requirements
  • Strong awareness of finance compliance and regulation
  • Understanding of global compliance requirements
  • Ability to assess tax legislation and its impact
  • Familiarity with outsourcing/co-sourcing models
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
  • Understanding of US income tax accounting and tax provisions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and data mining tools
  • Ability to build and manage relationships
  • Demonstrated client trust and value
  • Strong communication skills

  • Experience leading professional employees or supervising others to deliver complex technical initiatives

  • Experience with hybrid collaboration and global teams
