About the role
AECOM is seeking an experienced Program Manager for this exciting opportunity to oversee the long-term management and growth of our Federal portfolio in the Pacific Northwest. The selected candidate will take over an existing portfolio of large capacity multi-year contracts, work with business line leadership to develop and lead a dedicated project management team, oversee multiple project task orders from an executive level, develop and track pipeline and oversee compliance with regulatory and company standards, regulations, and quality assurance programs.
Responsibilities
- Managing and leading federal projects and programs, ideally for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), the U.S. Air Force, or other Federal Agencies.
- Experience building and leading successful program management teams.
- Closing successful collaboration with other Architecture, Engineering, and General Contractors.
- Managing and directing professional and technical staff to complete complex architectural and engineering projects.
- Achieving contractual performance and financial milestones across the lifespan of multiyear / multitask order contracts.
- Managing aspects of a program such as oversight of project managers, oversight of project controls or similar.
- Providing direction and oversight to AECOM staff and subcontractors.
- Generally having task and project management experience, including successful completion of several large projects.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Engineering, Architecture or a related field and 10+ years of relevant experience managing projects or programs or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- A valid Driver’s License is required.
