About the role

Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that utilize GIS technology to solve complex problems and drive meaningful change.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of GIS solutions
  • Perform testing and debugging of GIS applications
  • Document and maintain GIS application code and documentation
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in GIS development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience in GIS development or related field
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript and ArcGIS Runtime SDKs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
  • Knowledge of geospatial data models and geospatial databases
  • Understanding of web mapping technologies and APIs
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Pay

Salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek.
