Farebox Revenue Receiver (Part Time)

About the role

Every day, thousands of riders depend on UTA's fare collection system. As a Farebox Revenue Receiver, you'll play an important part in keeping it running smoothly by securing fare revenue, protecting company assets, maintaining critical equipment, and supporting the reliable service our riders count on.

Responsibilities

• Remove and replace cashboxes from fareboxes.
• Maintain security of cash room, vehicles, and access to company assets at all times.
• Perform preventative maintenance and clean required equipment as needed.

Requirements

• One year of work experience in a cash-sensitive position (e.g., teller, cash room, vault, armored guard).
• Experience completing preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and parts exchange.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid Utah driver license.
• No more than 4 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• No violations of driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or their combination within the last 10 years.
• No convictions of any financial nature.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to safely and securely remove, control, and store company assets.
• Ability to follow procedures and processes with precision and accuracy.
• Ability to complete written reports and records quickly, accurately, and completely.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds or more regularly throughout each shift.
• Must pass a credit check and background check.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.

Schedule

Part-time: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM.

Pay

$18.13 per hour.
