FAMILY THERAPIST

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work in home with children and their families to resolve conflict and cultivate a unified environment.
• Assist clients in Family Therapy approach.
• Provide program reports and maintains case reports in accordance with policies of St. Dominic's and Office of Mental Health.

Education & Experience

• A Masters degree in a clinical treatment field is required.
• Experience in a clinical background working with high-risk children and families and have demonstrated skills and experience in working with that service population is required.
• Must have extensive knowledge of Family Therapy techniques.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to effectively communicate.
• The employee must be able to use public transportation, including the subway.
• The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, use mobility and, write or use the computer.
