Family Therapist

Job Summary

At HavenRise Academy, we are seeking a Family Therapist to join our growing team. This position will begin as part-time with the expectation of transitioning into full-time as our clinic grows.

About the Role

As a Family Therapist at HavenRise, you will provide group and family therapy to adolescents and their families. You will use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. You will facilitate meaningful family sessions to improve communication and connection, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic client care, and provide psychoeducation to parents and guardians to empower them as partners in healing.

Responsibilities

• Provide group and family therapy to adolescents and their families
• Use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, Family Systems Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy
• Facilitate meaningful family sessions to improve communication and connection
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic client care
• Provide psychoeducation to parents and guardians to empower them as partners in healing

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
• Current Florida license as LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW preferred. Otherwise must be license eligible
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing family therapy, with adolescents
• Group experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication, clinical documentation, and crisis intervention abilities
• Strong documentation skills and proficiency in EHR systems
• Passion for helping adolescents achieve emotional wellness and resilience
• Comfort in a start-up environment; willing to adapt and grow as the clinic evolves

Pay

Hourly Rate: $25 – $40.50 hourly, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Schedule

Up to 20 hours a week. Must be available to provide the following support:

• Family Support Group: Monday 4:30 pm -5:30 pm
• Family Workshop: One Thursday -Friday a month 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
