About the Role
This is a full-time position in a primary care clinic offering a wide range of services, including acute and chronic care, chronic disease management, addictions care, and minor procedures. The clinic uses Med Access EMR and is supported by a full complement of administrative staff. It is conveniently attached to the Princeton General Hospital.
Responsibilities include general practice, long-term care, inpatient care, emergency coverage, and clinic work. On-call duties are 1:4 (one in four) and include one weekend out of every four to cover the ER, inpatients, and long-term care.
A portion of your Return of Service (ROS) FTE will support Primary Care Network (PCN) and/or Interior Health (IH) facilities and services. Family Physicians in this community are strongly encouraged to support IH services, including rural ER, long-term care (LTC), Opioid Agonist Therapy (OAT), and maternity care, as part of their practice.
Pay
Compensation Type: Fee-for-Service
Estimated Remuneration: $350,000 - $800,000
Physician Overhead: Approximately $5,000
Additional remuneration may be available under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including:
- Retention Premium: 15.23%
- Retention Flat Fee: $23,594
- Relocation Funding: $9,000 - $15,000
- Recruitment Incentive: $20,000
