Join our Emergency Team in beautiful Grand Forks, BC, and a community practice in your choice of Grand Forks, Christina Lake, Midway, or Greenwood. This role combines emergency medicine at Boundary Hospital with longitudinal community-based primary care, essential for maintaining the stability and sustainability of the local medical community. Your clinic work directly supports the emergency department and the people who depend on both.
Facility Details
Boundary Hospital – Level I Community Hospital
- 12-bed facility with a 24/7 Emergency Department
- Emergency Department operates with Advanced Practice Providers (APP)
- Shifts are typically 24 hours, with the possibility of 12-hour shifts
- Flexibility to pick up additional shifts or swap shifts
- Broad mix of cases and hands-on procedures
- Specialist support from regional centres in Trail (~100 km) and Kelowna (231 km)

Pay
Compensation Type: Alternative Payment Arrangement
Estimated Remuneration:
- EMEMGP: $366,046 per 1.0 FTE (full-time emergency department services)
- EMEMSP: $403,668 per 1.0 FTE (full-time emergency department services)
Compensation may vary.
Benefits
May be eligible for additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including:
- Retention Premium: 18.62%
- Retention Flat Fee: $28,856
- Relocation Funding: $9,000–$15,000 (dependent on move location)
- Recruitment Incentive: $20,000
- Rural CME: Reaching maximum allowance after 4 years in practice
