Family Practitioner/General Practitioner

Our South Surrey clinic is located in an extremely busy shopping complex with a large array of tenants such as London Drugs, Thrifty Foods, restaurants, groceries, banks, and other professional and leisure businesses. It is adjacent to new residential developments and desirable established neighborhoods, making it an ideal and affordable location to raise a young family in the lower mainland. The USA border is less than 15km away.

The clinic is multi-disciplinary and multi-physician with a collegiate atmosphere and a physician-focused MOA support team. It also provides virtual and telehealth options accessible from home. The ideal physician would provide full-scope family practice either full-time or part-time, with the possibility of a small walk-in component. The team will work closely with you to ensure a smooth transition of the practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope family practice, with flexible hours and the ability to set your own schedule
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
• Utilize Juno (OSCAR) EMR for patient records
• Access to 2 exam rooms during shifts (clinic has 14 exam rooms and 1 surgical room)

Requirements

• Hold or be eligible for Certification in the College of Family Physicians (CCFP)
• Hold or be eligible for a full license to practice medicine in BC
• Good standing with BC's College of Physicians and Surgeons
• Provisional license eligible applicants are welcome
• Hospital privileges will be an asset

Financials

• Billing Split: 70/30 (negotiable)
• Bi-Monthly payment (FFS, LFP) or Monthly (PCN)
• Estimated Remuneration: $300,000 - $600,000
• Signing Bonus: up to $10,000
• Relocation bonus: up to $8,000
• Equity incentives to be discussed

Staff

The clinic currently has 13 part-time and full-time physicians, an RN, an office manager, and MOAs who can all help with the transition process.

Schedule

The clinic is open from Monday to Sunday. The new physician will work out a flexible schedule with the clinic.
