Family Outreach Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic behavioral supports
• Provide family support services
• Offer targeted case management to eligible children and their families
• Deliver services in home, school, or community settings
• Collaborate with external supports such as school staff, community supports, DJJS/DCYF, and more
• Participate in trainings, consultations, and supervision

Job Requirements

• Required minimum education: Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services or an equivalent
• Experience working with children and families or in mental health or human service settings recommended
• Reliable transportation required, as community-based services include transporting youth
• Availability for weekday evening hours required
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external supports and work within a team model
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with youth and families
