Family Outreach Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic behavioral supports, family support services, and targeted case management to eligible children and their families.
• Deliver services in the home, school, or community settings.
• Collaborate with external supports such as school staff, community supports, DJJS/DCYF, and more.
• Participate in trainings, consultations, and supervision.

Job Requirements

• Required minimum education of a Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services or an equivalent.
• Experience working with children and families or in mental health or human service settings recommended.
• Reliable transportation required, as community-based services include transporting youth.
• Availability for weekday evening hours required.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external supports and work within a team model.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with youth and families.
