Youth & Family Outreach Specialist
About the role
Build trusting, supportive relationships with youth and caregivers while providing safe, therapeutic, and skill-based interventions that enhance social, emotional, and family functioning.
Play an active role in behavior support, collaborative limit setting, and crisis intervention, helping families navigate challenging moments with care and respect.
Connect youth and families with meaningful community and program resources so they can build on their strengths and move toward their own treatment goals.
Provide transportation to treatment-related activities and events, making it easier for families to fully participate in services and reach their goals.
Work closely with Program Management, Home-Based Clinicians, and the Treatment Team to ensure services are well-coordinated, responsive, and truly centered on each family’s needs and voice.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation
- Bachelor's Degree in mental health related discipline and one (1) year experience working with youth preferred
- Associate Degree in Human Services field and one (1) year experience working with youth
- At least six months experience working with children and/or adolescents with emotional difficulties and their families required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
Qualifications

Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of child and adolescent development and mental health
- Experience with crisis intervention and behavior support
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and families
- Proficient in using technology for data management and record-keeping

Pay
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours
Schedule: Flexible hours between 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. to meet the needs of the families
Pay Rate: $22.27/hourly
