About the role

Verdence/Family is seeking a Family Office Wealth Associate to join our team. This is a high-impact position for a detail-oriented professional passionate about delivering white-glove service to ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) families and individuals. Our clients manage complex financial lives that extend well beyond investments, including families, properties, travel schedules, estate documents, business interests, and household staff. This role exists to make that complexity manageable.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for ultra-high-net-worth clients, managing day-to-day inquiries and requests with professionalism and urgency
  • Anticipate client needs and deliver proactive, thoughtful follow-up on all open items
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships built on trust, responsiveness, and exceptional service
  • Work closely with senior advisors/relationship managers, family members, attorneys, accountants, and other members of the Verdence team to ensure seamless execution of a wide range of requests, questions, and initiatives
  • Manage the full lifecycle of client documentation, onboarding, account and e-file maintenance, and custodian coordination
  • Assist in the delivery of various concierge-level services including travel coordination, oversight of clients’ vendors, troubleshooting issues on behalf of clients, bill pay backup, and other client-related matters
  • Track and follow up on deliverables, action items, and client commitments to ensure timely completion
  • Continuously review internal processes and workflows to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency
  • Willingness to take on new and evolving responsibilities as the firm grows and client needs change
  • Work closely with clients’ accountants to ensure timely delivery of tax preparation documents and tax payments

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in private wealth management, family office services, private trust company, or a closely related financial advisory role
  • BA/BS Degree
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with ultra-high-net-worth clients and their advisors
  • Familiarity with wealth management concepts including investment management, estate planning, trust structures, philanthropy, and family governance
  • Proficiency with custodial platforms (Fidelity & Schwab) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of exceptional client service and follow-through
  • Familiarity with alternative investments, entity structuring, and family governance (Preferred)

Pay

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, skills, credentials, and geographical location.
