Stock Associate

About the role

Warehouse Associates play a critical role in supporting our distribution operations by ensuring inventory is received, stocked, and replenished accurately and efficiently to meet our customers' needs. Parts Authority is a leading national distributor of automotive replacement parts, tools/equipment, and transmissions, rapidly expanding with over 300 locations across the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Stock items on shelves and maintain neat, orderly warehouse conditions
• Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores, placing them in the proper shelf locations
• Verify and check off received merchandise
• Correct mistakes found on inventory count sheets
• Assist in pulling parts during busy periods
• Clean inside and outside the warehouse
• Work with the stock manager to address order problems
• Resolve stocking issues within the warehouse
• Perform miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned

• Collaborate effectively with staff and supervisors
• Open availability, flexibility to work various shifts and overtime
• 1-2 years of stocking experience preferred
• Familiarity with warehouse safety measures
• Maintain and promote workplace safety
• Handle and secure cash or other assets
