Family Medicine Physician | Louisburg
About the role
Maria Parham Health in Louisburg, NC is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join their team. You will be part of a rapidly growing community with access to the necessary staff, resources, and technologies to make a meaningful impact on patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for adults and children, managing both chronic and acute conditions within the primary care setting.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in inpatient psychiatry medical coverage, though this is not a requirement.
- Utilize Athena in the practice and Paragon on the hospital side.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 20-25 patients per day.
Requirements
- MD/DO degree with current licensure in North Carolina.
- Experience in family medicine is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of and experience with the electronic medical record system, Athena, is beneficial.
- Experience with the hospital information system, Paragon, is advantageous.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
