About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

Responsibilities

  • Join an established team of 1 Family Medicine Physician, 2 Internal Medicine Physicians, 1 Internal Medicine APC, and 1 Family Medicine APC
  • Medical Assistants at a 1:1 ratio with clinicians
  • Predominantly commercial/Medicare insured patient population
  • Located in northern Racine
  • Growing population with new economic development
  • Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered primary care, including high-quality diagnostic and treatment services, to improve the health and well-being of the community
  • Carefully coordinate seamless care transitions for patients, managing specialized consultations, inpatient admissions, and collaborating with case management for successful discharge planning
  • Lead or actively participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of care delivery within the clinic and the wider system
  • Maintain complete and timely patient documentation and electronic medical records to ensure compliance, accurate records, and support the financial integrity of the practice
  • Ability to practice autonomously and demonstrate comfort managing a solo outpatient primary care panel within a clinic environment

Requirements

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in primary care is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits

  • Sign-On Bonus: $80,000

Commensurate with experience.
