Family Medicine Physician
This is an exceptional opportunity for a compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join an employed position within a busy, patient-focused practice, supporting the FCA employees and their dependents. Preventative Medicine/Lifestyle Medicine preferred but not required. Join a well-established, collegial team.
About the role
Call structure: 1 week every 6 weeks
Practice setting: Outpatient
Employed position within a nonprofit health system
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, high-quality care that prioritizes building strong, enduring patient-provider relationships for optimal long-term health outcomes.
- Optimize patient well-being by rigorously assessing current health risks and deploying proactive strategies for disease prevention, early detection, and health education.
- Lead collaborative efforts across the multidisciplinary care team to ensure seamless coordination and a holistic approach throughout the patient journey.
- Ensure urgent patient needs are met with accessibility by offering same-day appointments for acute illness and unexpected medical concerns.
Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
