Family Medicine Physician - Locum Tenens

About the role

We are seeking a Board-Certified Physician to provide outpatient primary care services in a clinic setting. The provider will deliver care to adult patients (14+) and manage a caseload of 15-20 patients daily. The role is based in a Federally Qualified Health Center supporting consistent, quality care delivery in Huntsville, Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient primary care to adult patients (14+).
• Collaborate with a team of one physician and three nurse practitioners.
• Handle call coverage at a 1:6 ratio, with calls routed through a service.

Requirements

• Active Alabama medical license.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
• Compliance with flu vaccination requirements.
• Board certification in a relevant specialty.
• On-site work in Huntsville, Alabama.

Schedule

• Four to five days per week.
• Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday.
