Family Medicine Physician
About the role
Mission Neko is redefining what prevention means, from treating illness when it arrives, to sustaining health before it's ever at risk. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear. In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalized, actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Neko's preventive-care model to members in New York — using advanced, non-invasive technology and clinical expertise to identify health risks early and translate findings into action plans that genuinely change what a member does next.
- Work closely with Operators, APPs, and cross-functional partners to deliver a seamless, insight-driven member experience.
- Comprehensive preventive health screenings delivered using Neko's high-resolution skin imaging, cardiovascular assessments, and AI-powered decision support — with consistent quality across every member visit.
- Create personalized, action-oriented health plans from screening data, translated into next steps the member actually takes — measured by member follow-through and downstream outcomes.
- Provide member education on dermatological and cardiovascular risk factors and lifestyle strategies that lands — measured by how the member felt about the consultation, not just the clinical findings.
- Offer clinical oversight and escalation support to APPs, raising the bar for clinical quality and team performance across the clinic.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operators, APPs, and care teams to improve continuity of care and the end-to-end member experience.
Requirements
- Active New York State medical license.
- Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or equivalent.
- At least 1+ year of post-residency experience.
- Recent outpatient experience (at least a year in the past 5 years).
- Comfort working in a tech-forward, fast-moving clinical environment.
Qualifications
Genuine, personal commitment to preventive medicine — not just as a specialism, but as a way of practicing. You think it's wrong that this isn't how everyone practices medicine.
A member-first instinct — you take the member experience personally, not just procedurally, and measure a consultation's success by how the member felt, not just by the findings.
A team-lifting collaboration — you make the people around you better by showing up consistently, sharing what you know, and caring how the team performs as a whole.
