About the role

MercyOne Forest City Family Medicine is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join a busy practice. The position is ideal for a BC/BE physician who is looking to establish their career in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of 5 ARNP’s and 1 Physician
• Traditional outpatient family medicine with a 1:6 call schedule (phone only)
• Access to lab, X-Ray, EKG, behavioral services, and family counseling on-site
• Highly competitive compensation package including a 2-year income guarantee of $301,290/year, full benefits package, paid malpractice and tail coverage, generous PTO, and $6,000/year for CME
• Up to $15,000 in moving allowance
• Specialist outreach including Ortho and Podiatry
• Telemedicine and teleradiology available

Requirements

• Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school
• Board certified or board eligible
• Able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges
• Above average communication skills
• Ability to work with a team
• Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license
• Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate
