Outpatient Internal Medicine- Physician- Forest City, Iowa- $150,000 bonus!

About the Role

Join a busy outpatient family or internal medicine practice (based on physician training) as a replacement for a retiring provider. This role is part of a team of 5 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) within MercyOne Forest City Family Medicine, offering traditional outpatient care with on-site services including lab, X-ray, EKG, behavioral services, and family counseling. The practice is supported by tenured RNs and experienced office staff.

Call schedule is 1:5-6 weeks. The practice is located 30 miles from MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital recognized as a Top 100 Hospital nationally. Specialist outreach, including Ortho and Podiatry, is available, along with telemedicine and teleradiology services.

Compensation & Benefits

• $150,000 bonus package
• $300,908 2-year guaranteed base salary
• Up to $15,000 in moving allowance
• Full benefits package, including paid malpractice and tail coverage (benefits start on day 1 of employment)

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine; must be board certified within 3 years of becoming eligible
• Graduate of a medical or osteopathic medical school
• Completion of an appropriate residency program
• Ability to obtain medical staff privileges at Mercy Medical Center–North Iowa
• Licensed or eligible for a State of Iowa physician license, Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate, and Federal DEA Certificate
• Above-average communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• H1B candidates accepted
• PSLF eligible
