MercyOne Forest City Family Medicine is seeking a full-time Family Medicine physician to join a busy practice that replaces a recently retired provider. The position is part of a team of 5 Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNP) and 1 Physician.

Shift Description

The call is 1:6 weeks; phone only with minimal call. Lab, X-Ray, EKG, behavioral services, and family counseling are available on-site. Tenured RNs and experienced office staff support the practice. A $150,000 bonus package is offered, along with a highly competitive compensation package including a 2-year income guarantee of $301,290/year, full benefits package, paid malpractice and tail coverage, generous PTO, and $6,000/year for CME. Up to $15,000 in moving allowance is also provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school
• Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible
• Able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges
• Above average communication skills
• Ability to work with a team
• Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate
