About the Role

Part-time Family Medicine Physician position in Utica, NY with a national wound physician group. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend responsibilities.

Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states, utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. You will become an expert in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. We provide physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship to ensure clinical excellence.

This is a mobile practice where physicians visit facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location, conducting weekly wound rounds at each facility. Physicians typically visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. Clinical documentation is completed at the point of care in real-time using our proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Responsibilities

• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at assigned facilities.
• Treat approximately 20–30 patients per day across 2–3 facilities.
• Complete clinical documentation in real-time during rounds using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time roles.
• W2 employment contract (no work visa sponsorship is available).

Schedule

• Full-time work: Monday–Friday (7am–4pm) or part-time availability.
• Part-time role: Minimum of 3 days per week.
• Full-time role: 4–5 days per week.
• No call or weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Routinely a 45-hour work week for full-time positions.

Pay

W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits.

Mileage reimbursement is provided.
