Job Description
HealthPartners Riverway Anoka Clinic is seeking a board certified Family Medicine physician to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care within a supportive and respected environment. As a Family Medicine physician, you will be part of the largest multi-specialty care system in the Twin Cities, working alongside a team dedicated to improving the health and well-being of patients, members, and the community.

About the Role

The position requires board certification in Family Medicine and a current unrestricted medical license. Experience is preferred but not required. You will be part of a team that values collaboration, respect, and a shared commitment to the mission of HealthPartners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct routine check-ups, perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and provide preventive care
  • Manage chronic conditions and coordinate care with specialists as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care

Requirements

  • Board certification in Family Medicine
  • A current unrestricted medical license
  • Experience in Family Medicine is preferred but not required

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to manage a busy clinical workload
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care

Skills

  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

There is some flexibility with the schedule. The extended care model includes a rotating schedule with weeks alternating between:

  • Week 1: Monday OFF, Tuesday OFF, Wednesday OFF, Thursday 9:00am – 8:00pm, Friday 9:00am – 8:00pm, Saturday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Sunday 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Week 2: Monday 9:00am – 8:00pm, Tuesday OFF, Wednesday OFF, Thursday OFF, Friday OFF, Saturday OFF, Sunday OFF
