Family Medicine DNP - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

This outpatient clinician position involves providing primary care services at a community health center in New York City. The role encompasses treating patients of all ages, with a focus on Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, seeing approximately 21 patients daily.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient primary care
• Manage a diverse patient population
• Prescribe medications
• Perform clinical duties within a collaborative team environment supported by on-site staff including an LPN and MA

Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• DEA registration
• BLS certification
• Active NY Medicaid number
• COVID and flu vaccinations
• At least 2 years of clinical experience
• Prescriptive authority

Schedule

Work Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with administrative and lunch breaks. The position is fully on-site at an FQHC providing outpatient primary care services.
