Family Medicine DNP - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

The clinician will provide outpatient primary care services to an adult student population in a clinic setting, primarily managing general family medicine cases such as concussions and eating concerns.

Responsibilities

• Deliver primary care to adult patients, including diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Respond to critical lab results and provide after-hours and weekend availability for urgent needs.
• Manage patient cases efficiently within a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Requirements

• Current NYS license, infection control and BLS certifications, and prescriptive authority.
• Minimum of 3 years outpatient experience preferred.
• Ability to handle a diverse adult patient population and manage patient care effectively.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch.

Expected patient volume of 8-10 per day, with increased demand during respiratory season.

Must maintain availability for urgent calls related to ordered tests.
