About the role

The clinician will provide primary care services in a correctional facility for adult patients, managing chronic and acute conditions, conducting evaluations, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive healthcare within established correctional protocols
• Handle a caseload of approximately 18-20 patients daily
• Collaborate with RNs and LPNs
• Maintain prescriptive authority and adhere to professional standards

Qualifications and Skills

• Must hold a Virginia license
• DEA registration
• Board certification
• Prescriptive authority is required
• Strong clinical skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
